In compliance with enacted right-to-know legislation, the following information provides information for consumers on certain ingredients
used in the manufacture or processing of applicable NoStik products.
We are committed to creating safe consumer products and welcome any questions from our customers. For our Colorado consumers: Intentionally added PFAS chemicals present in our products are added to give these products nonstick properties, increased wear resistance and increased corrosion and chemical resistance.
For more information visit https://www.biomonitoring.ca.gov/chemicals/priority-chemicals
A part of the NoStik product range contains nonstick made out of PTFE. PTFE is listed in the CECBP – Priority Chemicals (Biomonitoring California Priority Chemicals list). For more information about chemicals in these products, visit https://dtsc.ca.gov/scp/authoritative-lists
All our products comply with relevant rules established by the federal Food and Drug Administration, including the relevant requirements of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations governing the safe use of substances in contact with food.
California Assembly Bill 1200 (“A.B. 1200”) and Colorado House Bill 22-1345 (“H.B. 22-1345”) require manufacturers of cookware to disclose the presence of certain chemicals that are intentionally added in any product surface that comes into contact with food or beverages. California’s A.B. 1200 applies to chemicals identified on California’s Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) Candidate Chemicals List, while Colorado H.B. 22-1345 applies to PFAS chemicals.
Colorado H.B. 22-1345 Disclosure Details:
PTFE coated products contain PFAS chemicals (polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), perfluoroalkoxy alkane (PFA), fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP)), which are used for their non-stick properties.
